Adam’s Piano Concert Series April 18
Pianist Ann Schein returns to Auburn for the spring concert of the Adam’s Piano Series 9th Season on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 3PM in the sanctuary of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William Street.
Auburn audiences raved over Ann Schein’s mastery of Chopin’s Preludes in 2005. In her encore performance for the Adams Series, her program will feature Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantaise, Op. 61 and SonataNo. 3 in B minor, Op. 58 in honor of Chopin’s 200th birthday in 2010. She will also perform Books 1 and 2 of Robert Schumann’s Davidsbundlertanze, Op. 6.
Ms. Schein’s career as a performer has earned her high praise in major American and European cities and in more than fifty countries around the world. Ms. Schein has performed with major orchestras including the New York, Los Angeles, and London philharmonics. She has performed at the White House, and has taught at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore and the Aspen Music Festival.
