Going Green Recyclable Bags
Pictured are Allie Mack, Julia Cosachov, Ed Vivenzio, Katie Ambrose, Joe Liccion, Kaitlin Pullis, & Adam Lupien.

Member's of the Stardust Foundation’s Blueprint II "Going Green" group proudly display their reusable bags, funded by the City of Auburn's Historic & Cultural Site's Commission, and handed out  at the Founder's Day Celebration to discourage the use of plastic. The group also designed and constructed an "Under the Sea" float for the parade, exemplifying all of the plastic waste in our oceans.

Those receiving the bags were asked to provide their email addresses so the group can follow up with a survey to track the increased use of reusable bags and the decrease in the use of plastic bags.

Two dozen additional Blueprint II members spent the day cleaning up trash left behind by the folks enjoying the Founder's Day celebration, ensuring an esthetically pleasing environment throughout the day.
