"Good News" from Auburn
 

Both Ends of the Rainbow returns to the Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center located at 205 Genesee St., Auburn, on January 25 and will be on view through March 8, 2009. This annual exhibition will feature over 1,000 works of art by local students and senior citizens from Cayuga County. On view in Gallery Julius will be the “Three Lakes Sampler,” a collaborative project organized by Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES that includes artwork and poetry by local students.

This year's participating schools include: Auburn High School; Casey Park Elementary; Cato-Meridian High School; Cato-Meridian High School; East Middle School; Finger Lakes Christian School; Genesee Elementary School; Herman Ave. Elementary; Millard Fillmore Elementary; Montessori School of the Finger Lakes; Moravia Central High School; Moravia Central Middle School; Owasco Elementary School; Seward Ave. Elementary; Southern Cayuga High School; Southern Cayuga Middle School; Tyburn Academy; Union Springs Middle School/High School; Weedsport Elementary; and West Middle School.

The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center hours are Tuesday- Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday, 1 - 5 pm. Suggested admission is $3 for adults. Children under 12 and members are free.
