"Good News" from Auburn

Is there a house on your block, or on your way to work that is vacant or in need of attention? Is there a neighboring structure that is bringing your property value down?

YOU wish someone would do something about these dilapidated buildings?

You can do something! Send an email to mpesek@ci.auburn.ny.us and include the address of the building.

Send a post card to: City of Auburn, Office of Planning & Economic Development 24 South Street, Auburn, NY 13021 (Write the address on the postcard.)

Call 255-4115 and give the address to the staff at the City’s Office of Planning & Economic Development.

Stop into the City’s Planning Office and speak with a member of the staff about the property.

In order to address the blighting influence of challenged structures we need your help to put together a “problem properties” list. We plan to use this list to request grant funding and to set priorities. We want to become more aggressive in taking care of, demolishing, rehabilitating and maintaining our houses and supporting our neighborhoods. Thank you for taking the time to be a good neighbor.
